SkyVenture is a skydiving simulator powered by two 500 horsepower fans that generate virtual wind forces. The wind is circulated from each fan located at the top of the structure, down the sides, through the basement plenum and returned back up through the venturi tube sky diving chamber and back to the fans. With a basement 15′ into the ground, the building stands another 80′ above grade and is attached to ancillary offices, training facilities, and classrooms. This steel framed structure is adjacent to Fort Bragg, NC and is used by military and civilians.
